About Our Office
Acupuncture of Iowa is the clinic where Laura Christensen provides acupuncture and related Asian medical therapies. Please see "Our Services" to the left for more information on this.
We specialize in treating such problems as back pain, leg pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, joint pain, arthritis pain, nerve pain, cancer pain, and any other chronic pain. Pain relief and pain management is just one reason people seek acupuncture.
Many other conditions are amenable to acupuncture treatment. These include gynecological problems including infertility, respiratory disorders such as asthma and allergies, and digestive problems such as gas, bloating, GERD, and bowel problems.
Our Clinic
This is a comfortable place where we intend for clients to feel safe and cared for. Our clinic is handicapped accessible; please let us know your special needs when you call for your appointment.
General Location
The clinic is in the lower level of a residence at the Southwest corner of the Towncrest medical area. We are one block from a major Southeast Iowa City business district, one block from the Towncrest bus stop, and easy to find by car. There is parking outside the clinic and on both streets across from the clinic. Please find directions to the clinic under Map at left.
