Caring, Compassionate, Comprehensive    1201 Wade St., Iowa City, IA 52240 319.341.0031

Appointments at Acupuncture of Iowa are comforting, relaxing, and rejuvenating. There is ample time for talking, and during the acupuncture treatment most people get very relaxed, some even taking this time to have a nap. We often will add the other traditional therapies of cupping, gwa sha, and moxibustion to the treatments when needed.

Traditional Chinese Herbology and dietary therapies are also offered for patients who request it. In many cases, the herbal therapy is more important than the acupuncture, though most of our patients come initially looking for acupuncture treatment.

Common sense solutions are often sought for problems, and patients' ideas are always welcome.

Nutritional advice is based on recent research in the field of nutrition and physiology, and a large reference library of handouts for patients' education is available.

Our staff will do everything possible to answer your questions about what we do and why.
